Oh, I did. Lit them up with a cigar. But I...
1 - only had about 30
2 - didn't pay for them

I was at my friend's parents' house and volunteered to be the pyro. Always do.

There are too many fireworks displays going on near my house in the next 3 nights. Anything I could contribute to the festivites would definitely be pathetic in comparison. Plus, I'd probably blow off one of my appendages, or at least catch myself on fire.

LOL..I'll be going by my uncles for a huge party, biggest party of the year is on the 4th..
Out in the country, bunch of drunks, just what goes together well with fireworks
Edit looks like we are doing it a day early, tomorrow on the 3rd ..
Hope everyone has stocked up their beer and liquor...it's going to be wild...

The only thing I ever cared about when it comes to fireworks was having my cutie by my side to kiss like mad under them
Fireworks can be soooooo romantic.

I thought you don't drink? Or...do you only drink when there are pyrotechnics involved.

I'm always the lone sober person, too.

I don't drink much either.....I just don't like being drunk. I'm not myself. I love wine, though.....but I rarely drink it. One glass and I'm *gone*.

lol I dont care for being drunk either. I do like the buzz though. I always thought it would be nice to smoke a drunk
I hate throwing up and I hate hangovers.
Not to mention I never wanted to become and drunk parent. Or a drunk abusive husband. Or a drunk driving murderer.
Growing up I had a few friends who battled with the booze deamon. My dad took them in because they got thrown out of their homes.
After a few weeks living with us they were going to AA and I ahve to say all of them are still alcohol free to this day

The one time (in almost 17 years of marriage) that I ever was so mad at my husband that I yelled at him was when we had a party, and he got VERY drunk and was acting like a complete idiot goofball. Our kids observed this and thought it was funny....so, they asked if they could try what he was drinking. Omg...I was SO upset! (of course I didn't let them try anything) I just didn't want them thinking that being drunk was "fun"....know what I mean? This was a few years ago....and he hasn't overindulged in front of them since then.
Drinking and driving, imo, is one of the most deplorable things a person can do. This is the other reason I am happy to not drink; this way I can be the designated driver for myself and everyone.
If you have abusive tendencies when you're drunk (or sober).....I'd say you definitely shouldn't drink.
It's got to feel great to know that you and your dad have most likely saved their lives!
