I drink a lot of pop. I did a test and switched to Coke Zero for three months and never lost an ounce. Back to regular Coke for me.

Hmmmm well it really has not

First off, I pretty much only smoke a joint before bed sometimes. I barely smoke weed anymore.

However,

I managed to learn the PERL programming language, learn a ****load about linux/unix to the point where I could easily move into a network admin job if I really wanted to, learn so much about hosting on a linux/unix box that I wrote all the hosting related scripts for my company myself instead of having to use plesk or cpanel, and I've managed to maintain a job for the last ten years in one of Canada's largest telecom company’s, I was a cooperate trainer and am now a manager.

Wow weed really killed any possibility of me being successful now didn’t it.

I'm not saying this to YOU per se....but there are other kinds of "smarts", besides "book-smarts". There are things such as.... common sense, business sense, logic, etc. Those things can definitely be affected by smoking weed, as one's view of reality, while stoned, is a bit skewed.

success = intelligence

I don't get the connection. But, then again, maybe I'm not smart enough.

Do you smoke weed Heather?

I wouldn’t say I have book smarts. I’m a self made man and that takes a hell of alot more than reading a book or two.

I posses common sense, business sense, and logic and a hell of alot more skill or I wouldn’t have made it to where I have on a high school education would I?

I was arguing that weed will not hinder ones success and that there are way to many misconceptions regarding the drunk.

Alcohol is soooooooo much worse but hey it's legal so lets not think about all the damage it does.

No way!

Success is also a subjective concept; what's considered successful to one person, is one step above poverty to another.

I agree with you there. All I was trying to say is that weed has not effected me in the ways that everyone says it does.

But hey I do have experience in the matter so why believe me eh.

that is called the person-who argument. Person A has done extremely well while smoking weed, therefore, smoking weed does not cause a person do do poorly. it isn't a logical argument.

I have no reason to put that $hit into my body....plus, I'm very happy living in reality, I have no need for escape via substances of any kind.

Wait....you forgot arrogance, too! Brag all you want, Daniel....I have a feeling that your idea of success and mine are miles apart. Sorry, I'm not impressed.

oh, well that's just the first non sugary drink I could think of. Water would be good too. I've been into water lately.... I like the strawberry dasani water.

Milk is food for a baby I guess.... but otherwise I don't think of it as a food, I drink it.

I tried the strawberry water the other day and it was surprisingly good -- not too sweet like some of them are

Ever since I breastfed my kids, I have not been able to drink milk! It grosses me out.

I haven't tried that. I usually grab dasani if I'm in the store, otherwise, I drink whatever comes out of the little spout that hangs on the outside of my refridgerator
