It sucks. I never felt at home there. Well, as much as you can anyway to a bunch of people you only know online in a place that only exists when the powers not out in the right place.

I read through some of your posts and well TBH it's not hard to see why you were not liked there if you were not. Opening new threads when you should have posted into an existing one, making sexist comments, complaining about merged threads and that's only after skimming 2 pages of your posts.
Especially Crazy_Rob, I have nothing but respect for that guy and he even said you were annoying the hell out of him

Thanks! I've been there, but not enough to know it's got a nickname, obviously.

People use the phrase to suggest that criticism is unwarranted. It's like saying "consider the source". Whatever the peanut gallery has to say, it's still just the peanut gallery.
Where did she use it?

On the topic of this thread, I don't think people should try to pit on forum against another, unless the place is wholesale evil (WMW) or fanatically greedy and inundated with advertising (SP).
DP isn't a bad place. There are serious issues that should be addressed, like the anonymous rep issue, but many of the members here are also members there, and vice versa, so you know some good people post there.
I honestly think that the anonymous rep issue is the only one that keeps the big name SEO's from posting there regularly.
But then, big name SEO's tend to just post on Cre8asite or WMW, and even then not very often.

John, do you think since the popularity of blogs has exploded that big name SEO'ers have left forums?

No, I think that many still post, they just post where they have the most seniority (respect).
