Her thread was about annonymous reps given to newbies, who ask questions and get anon reps and a silly pic in return.
she was not complaining about anan rep given to her.
My point was no good poster would care for annon rep given to him/her.
as I said I get a couple of annon reps everyday but you'd never find me whining about it. and I am not one of the kind. There is no member who doesnt get annon reps, but usually you'll its either newbies or members who just cant get along with community starts whining.. |

I only look at my rep stats every so often ... couple of weeks maybe. I really shouldn't look at it at all but, I'm only human. |

Cowardice if you dont sign your reds..
As far as DP is concern, I say there is a huge crowd, we often see people fighting over Infraction/iTraders. getting rid on anonymity would create more mess.

I think the maximum anyone can affect your rep by at dp is 5 or 10 so who cares if a 14 year old gives you rep its hardly going to effect you.
I agree this forum has more of a community feel but thats because there is always around 30 members online over a 45 minute period and dp has hundreds online over a 15 minute period so its harder for a larger forum to keep the community feel. Although dp used to have just as much community as this place when it was small ages ago.

Yeah true.
I gave it serious consideration in the beginning, but I felt as though it could have felt like a slap to the ones that were kind enough to pos rep me, so, I just left it on. I do occasionally mention (like now,) that I have never repped a single soul, and don't intend to. I may turn it off someday .. I dunno. |
