People expect things to get done for super cheap now, driving down the entire market price. I refuse to work for pennies.

Some of the coolest webmasters out there are from India.

I know alot of Jobs were lost because of out-sourcing, but alot of companies are pulling their tech-support and other phone/online related services out because of poor customer service and multiple customer complaints.

So in short, it was a fad.

Whenever something's cheaper, it ain't never gonna be no fad, I'm afraid. Look at all the cheap junk we get out of Taiwan. In spite of the fact that so much of it's crap, it hasn't stemmed the tide of crap into this country any.

Sure, maybe some of the big boys'll move their call centers out of India, but so long as it remains super-cheap, others'll leave it there. As always, it all comes down to profit. So long as it remains profitable, we'll be trying to hold our tempers while making ourselves understood.

Its not a fad, last I heard their moving it out of india to China. Which is even cheaper.

Probably your right, just the big companies were taken out, and brought back here, but the other 99.99 percent will never be taken out. As along as they can do a good job for cheaper, it will stay in those countries. It is India now, but soon to be China.

i dont think china is cheaper than india ... just that china is more efficient ..
