EBK banned??

I just noticed EBK is banned from v7n.

I am wondering what did he do to earn a ban.. He is a nice guy in my book..

any insight story??

He is a nice guy, I like him.

There was a mod team vote on it, and while I abstained from voting, I agree that something had to be done, and I stand by the mod team decision.

There were something like 10 or more threads moved to the Spam Can after being polluted with bickering between EBK and Daniel, and it was having a seriously negative impact on the forum.

Before the mod team made that decision, Colleen had already announced that she would be withdrawing from the forum because of the fighting.

At that point I washed my hands of it and let the moderators take control of the situation.

That's unfortunate. He did seem nice.

Why do people need to get so hissy on the internet? It's not that hard to ignore someone.

Its unfortunate..
While I agree that all these fights and arguements were sheer stupidity, but Dan is as much resposible as EBK for all these negetive Impacts IMO.

Anyway since its was moderation decision, it should have been for good.
I will miss him on v7n

Sometime the moderators have to make really tough decisions. Since there is no way to please everyone, they have to reach those decisions based on what they feel is best for the forum as a whole.

The moderators have my utmost respect for doing what they felt had to be done to stop the drama from destroying the community, despite their personal feelings for the individuals involved.

I am hoping that maybe now we can close this topic that has overwhelmed the V7N community for many weeks and move on.

Just my humble two cents...
