I've tried meditating. It's very relaxing and mind-focusing. If I'm ever hyped up a good meditation session brings me back to reality. But sometimes I see things while I meditate. Unexplainable things, images in my mind. Once, after focusing for about a half an hour, my mind created this strange image of a large airship, sort of like Laputa in "Castle in the Sky." It was covered with dozens of small propellers and waving flags. Unfortunately it broke my concentration and so disappeared after about 3-4 seconds. I haven't had that experience since, probably because I'm trying to make it happen. Bizarre things these fleshy consciousness generators.

I'm thinking about the pain throbbing in my knee, how I'm going to sick call Monday, and still trying to decide if I'm going to go home after the holidays, go to the Philipines this summer, or try to do both.
