Well it isn't right now but last night driving home I noticed the mass of city lights in the distance. So why do the city lights in the distance look like they are twinkling?

Sorry to contradict you Rank but the real reason is that all the people in the city are playing silly bug...s with Suzjor and are constantly turning their lights on and off until she gets close enough to the city. I've yet to work out why they are behaving in this way but, once I find out there is gonna be a reckoning.
