I go outside for sure. More often, it could be go to the movie, or biking, or walking around the green farms. Something I really love to try if I have lots of spare time is motorbiking 600 km to the west, pin point the location, make an awesome picture on that location, Print the photos and I will envelope it to my future son. behind the photo I will write, One of the greatest achievement of your old man . Just to inspire my little boy not to give up his dream easily

I would be on the golf course 4 days a week and at the 19th hole for a few hours afterwards.

Other then that, just sleep all day like a cat.

If I am financially independent I would like to see the whole world, to spend much time with my family, friends and deal with my hobbies.

Mostly retired I can answer that with a bit more that speculation. Contrary to what many overworked younger folks think you can't just sit and loaf. You need to keep moving. You can pay to join a gym or get some exercise around the house and yard. I can't work as hard or as long as I once did but I can do things so long as I take breaks. You either keep moving or you die in the rocking chair or bed.

Variety is also important. If Snakeair got to play golf 4 days a week I bet he would get tired of it after a few months and would then have to find something else for a day or two of that time.

The single hardest thing for most of the newly retired seems to be the realizations that this is the time you worked your whole life to achieve. I suspect sudden independent wealth would come with the same price tag.

I like what i do so much, to consider it a hobby. I guess, if i'd have more money than i could spend in 2 life times i'd just do the same. Sometimes i get tensioned because the things don't work the way i planed and when something wrong happens with whatever project i have online, but it repays when i get it fixed. I really dont see myself doing something else, besides i would just get bored doing nothing.

Me too. I've always wanted to get me a motorhome and just travel from place to place. Get tired of one town/state, I could just get in the drivers seat and head on down the road to the next town taking my home with me.

I find it boring after awhile staying in the same town/state. Waking up to the same scenery etc everyday. I'd like to see different scenery.

Plus one on that. I love golf and would certainly play almost every day if I could

I'd focus primarily on writing/recording music, fitness, and family. This of course is the goal that I'm working on making a reality in the now, instead of retirement.

I'm on the verge of switching career focuses, so this is actually something that rings true for me right now. If I didn't have a financial need to work, I would actually complete the career change into Sports Media full time, which means weekly travel to CFB and CBB games... taking pictures, doing interviews, etc.

I'm partially there now. Still working in the Internet Technology/Social Media sector while also covering collegiate sports and running my own radio show (which is growing/expanding, as well).

So, imagining I do not need to work earning for living and spending the whole days dealing with my job duties I will be happy, first of all, and only after I feel my happiness I will really think about what I can do and what I finally want to do. Usually we do not do what we WANT to do, but what we MUST do. Indeed, if I have so much cash I will open my business in the technological sphere and hire people to run it, see the world, buy the necessary things for comfortable living and do the charity work.
