Found it!

Thanks for finding the old thread HTML. Could this current thread be merged with the older one? Since WPW is gone, it would be nice to revive this thread on this forum at least annually.

Ooops! I can't forget to include the amazing contributions of HTML either.

RIP Deepsand.... Though I haven't got a chance to interact with you before, but I know for sure that this forum will never be the same without you...

My condolences and prayers to his family...

Psst,
The original post from 2013 was revived. Deepsand passed away Nov 2013.

Deepsand's favourite reply (which became his signature here)

If you think Snakeair and I are hard on people about backing up your replies you should look at Deepsand's replies. He was a stickler for statements being backed up. He taught us well 'cause we didn't want to argue with him.

One thing that I was so saddened by the closure of WPW was the loss of so many great threads and posts which prior to his passing Boone played a huge roll in. Thank you HTML and LMD for reviving his memory here.

cd :O)

Now the WPW domain seems to redirect to what looks like the owners random news junk posts. I don't think there has been even one comment on any of the posts made by Rich since starting to post way back in August.

You are right CD, there was a ton of good content there that appears to be gone forever.

<aside2>If a site goes down like that and someone were able to use the way back machine or something like that to re-create some of the content, would that be legal? I think I found a tool that may work. It isn't free though.

I'd think that if iEntry isn't interested in reviving the forum, and someone had the means with which to resurrect a forum with that content, as long as iEntry gives the Ok (probably best in writing), why not?

I thought older threads are to be automatically discarded after 90 days? 2013 is way longer than 90 days... Oh well, thank you for the info... But I still feel for the loss of Deepsand's family...

I loved talking to Deep in private messages. He was not only a mentor on here but our unofficial moderator who questioned everyone who posted advice that was not correct or made people reply with longer replies.

A really good guy offline as well as he and I didn't live that far apart but never actually wanted to do a meet and great in person. He even gave me advice on certain backroads to take to get back to my house that was faster then the same old route I took.

The man knew SEO like the back of his hand, used common sense and was a good debater on this forum. Once he made up his mind, if you didn't agree with him, you would after reading his responses. He could smell BS a mile away and called people out on it. Made bad posters turn to good posters on this forum.

Miss the guy.

God damn I miss the days of folks like Deepsand, John, Nintendo and quite a few of John's nemesis who's name escapes me thrashing it out in the controversial sub.
