Springtime is in full swing here in Texas and I am loving every moment of it.

We were told we were going to get some spring. I think I saw it on the news. I'm sure it's on the way.

Nice pic Cricket!

Spring in Texas is awesome but too doggone short... my Mexican plum trees are blooming and smell wonderful, I'm starting to see wildflowers, and the other day I looked out my window and saw about 100 cardinals in my backyard - wow that was cool.

But we desperately need more rain and I''m not seeing it.

Spring is beautiful in Texas, but the thing about Texas is... there are no seasons. ):
Today is spring, tomorrow is summer, and this evening is winter. Texas weather is a bipolar mess, she seriously needs to stabilize herself.

Everything is sprouting new growth....(I lost 3 pounds)

Last week the leaves feel off the trees like rain...
This week they are greening up...

Must be spring...strange year...

In regards to your question, the answer is yes, spring is starting to arrive because I noticed a whole bunch of weeds had reared it's ugly head in my rocked landscaped yard. I love the temperature in the Spring and the lack of need to have the heat on and not having the air conditioning on as well. Too bad Spring does not last too long because it is the best part of the year, in my personal opinion.

Yup - I think spring arrived last week - for about one day. The next day it was like late fall, then the day after that, almost winter. I'm wondering what next week will bring?

Its spring in Delhi, India, even it was raining yesterday when i was going to home on my bike. May be you are not aware of that Delhi has heavy traffic problem and in the rain it becomes terrible but i was enjoying it because i like rain very much.

My brother-in-law has a winter home in AZ. He tells me the locals describe March and October as magical months there. Something about the air being so fresh, clear - he wasn't very specific. I'm sure it may be similar in Texas as well?

Up here in Wisconsin, we're just now starting to hit the 50 degree mark; my friend in Corpus says they're around 90 already. :/
