A world without Nikola Tesla

If you don't hear about Nikola Tesla... well he was a genius who discovered the AC(alternating current) which we still use today to give electricity to all stuffs we use. This guy discovered AC, wireless communications, the modern electric motor, laser, radar, robotics, remote control, all over 100 years ago. So if you stop 1 second to think how would be the world today without this man? Maybe we wasn't here... talking about him on this forum. That's intersting how many changes from one single human.

Tesla was indeed a genius. Unfortunately, some of his greatest work (like free electricity) may never see the light of day, since the US gov't seized all of his work when he died. (By the way, beware of scams on the internet claiming to sell plans to build Tesla's free electricity generator - there are no such plans publicly available.)

It's sad that we only think of Edison when it comes to commercial electricity.
I think both should get same respect.
