Would you have the courage to do this?

of course, who wouldn't save an infant. We all should have the courage to do something like this.

We should have. First thing is to have the courage to break the window of the car. You know, it's not yours and you might repay any damages. It's impossible not to think about that though you really need to get the baby out. I'd probably ask for help nearby who can open the car out. And then, if all else fails, then break the car's window. ahehehe

In a heartbeat, Scripty.
My only concern would be how to break the window without harming the baby.

And if the person that left the baby there decided to sue me for the cost of the window, I would counter sue for 10 times that amount for mental anguish caused by her negligence.

In regards to the opening thread, I personally would definitely have the courage to assist if I encountered the above situation. Although I can't say honestly that my course of action would be to break the windows of the car. The reason why is because where I live, in the State of Az, gun laws are more lenient than those of many other states, allowing most law-abiding residents to carry firearms, either openly or concealed. Therefore you never know who you are actually dealing with and also too how some people will react to attempting to break into their vehicle. It's unfortunate but that's how people are nowadays.

Most likely I would have "tried" to go through the proper channels and contact the police. But my course of action would be relative to the situation at hand and obviously discernment would be needed. It seems, according to the article that the security guard tried to warn the young lady about the possible ramifications, which is a good thing but as for me, I guess it would be a judgement call. Nevertheless we have the luxury right now to judge the situation after the fact. What I would really do at that exact moment is help and assist, but in what way is something that I probably could not answer definitively.

I've seen this on the news and have watched it on youtube. Asking me if I would help a child? My answer is yes, definitely. I mean, who wouldn't right?
