Yes....exactly. My friends all "sniff" me when they hug me....and (not to brag) they always say how much they love my perfume. My girlfriends say it's.....like....comforting. I guess it's because it's a familiar scent to them. (it has a different effect on my guy-friends, though)

I also used to wear Van Cleef and Arpels. Doesn't have here.

My cat is the same way. And she also appears to be comforted having sniffed me upon my return home.

My cat is quite a little purr slut in general, very demanding of the pets, and very noisy when he doesn't get what he wants.
As for perfume, I guess I have one of those sensitive noses as I find most prefumes (and colognes) grossly overwhelming. As an undergrad all the frat boys would douse themselves in drakaar noir, god I hated that smell.
Happy (for me) is the only cologne i've ever even worn, but in general, they just overwhelm

I am allergic to most perfumes, so I don't wear any. Occasionally I will use a ginger body spray.. but that is sparingly, because too much will make me feel sick or make me sneeze.

Too much perfume or cologne is definitely awful. I use very little of it...and only put it in certain spots. I never dump it all over myself.

You'd think so, but like I see with make up and some people, there's a right way and then there's they way they THINK is the right way, which is usually kind of frightening.

I prefer the spritz-and-walk-through method.
