Um, I think every other week we here about a school shooting here in the US. We rarely here about Canadians doing that, and as you mentioned the Russian thing was a few years ago...

Every other week huh? Wow. There are school shooting EVERY OTHER WEEK in the United States. Really? Man, that's 26 a year.
This country also has the most intrustive media in the world...somehow I bet that helps a lot in the reporting (ok brit media is more intrusive but primarily about in bred royals) |

The British media is much more intrusive, and more than just about the royal family. Everything seems to be a scandal over there.
