I think this thread has a lot of potential. The one-liners found in this thread are more than just an ordinary appetizer, more spectacular than a succulent main course of decadence - they can be downright inspirational!!

Two open slices of fresh Belgian loaf, with slices of old cheddar, each grilled with a tomato slice on top! And yes - a cappuccino chaser.

For lunch earlier today I had to brown bag it . My lunch entailed 2 turkey jalapeno sandwiches (Oscar Mayer) topped with spinach and mustard and a Go-Girl energy drink.
All ingredients made possible by means of The 99 cent store.

Oven roasted turkey breast with two slices summer sausage, one slice of "old" cheddar, a little dash of mustard on a fresh bakery-style kaiser bun.

For desert? Half a muffin (muffin top) and a cappuccino.

Two slices of whole wheat toast with a fried egg on each. Salt, pepper and just a smidge of paprika.

LMD - what, no cappuccino??

Yes, with a cappuccino chaser.

The biggest problem is that 1hr after eating it I'm hungry again.

Sea Bream is a lovely white fish by the way.

Today I am having King Prawns, bacon, cheese and new potatoes with salad.

If I was in the UK, I'd come over to your place for lunch everyday.

Ham, slice of aged cheddar and a dab of mustard on a fresh bakery bun. Cappuccino soon!
