As a Yorkshireman and ex chef I can let you in on a secret. Yorkshire pudding is actually 'batter pudding' and is/was served before any roasted meat until quite recently when it became 'traditional', due it's the prevalence, to serve with beef.
A nice bit of history on the subject http://www.historic-uk.com/CultureUK/Yorkshire-Pudding/

I really miss the puddings my mother used to make on Sundays with the roast beef. I've never had anything close since. (salivating)

Mom makes a great Yorkshire pudding with nice crunchy top and light inside. When we asked how to do it she explained it much like the lady in the video at the end of the article Woomeister referenced.

If I were in a 'death-row type last meal scenario', Yorkshire puds (yorkies) with rich beef gravy would suffice for me.
They are a firm favourite in our household. We love toad in the hole made in a large metal baking tray, the pudding rises 8-10 inches so I have to cook it on the lowest shelf of the oven so it doesn't burn on the top.
There are a lot of myths surrounding yorkshires and this blog post is great, even though it's not English research!

I had spaghetti threaded through hot dogs. Cut up ones, at that. Here is a picture!
I took a picture off the Internet. I already ate this by the time I remembered to answer this. My mom makes these sometimes, but not nearly enough. They are easy to make and eat. You can put marinara on it, or put some in a hot dog bun. Try these.
I also had boiled broccoli. I don't think a picture is necessary. Eat well!

Earlier today for lunch I had one of my favorite leftovers, Macaroni and Cheese and some sauteed sliced zucchini seasoned with Salt/Pepper/Garlic.
