Yes I'm being generous too.
I speak English and Spanish mostly but did go to Greece for over 2 years and learned how to speak Greek there. Even tho I was able to get business for my web development when I was there, my Greek is awfuller than your Chinese.

That does sound a bit offensive. The others are distinct languages, not a dialect of the same language.

English (native) spanish and portuguese. As an american it is a great asset to be able to connect and understand others culture.

My primary language is English, but because my other half is Greek (though she was born in Germany), I'm learning Greek and German too. It isn't easy that's for sure.

What are the best programs or ways you have used to learn a new language?
I lived in Spain and Portugal for 2 years. That made it easy.
I recently tried to learn Italian with Rosetta Stone and made some progress.

I would say Rosetta Stone as I used that to learn more Italian that my grandmother didn't teach me before her passing.
