bad experience on hubpages

I recently went on hubpages for fun and to review it for my site. I wrote a short article on hubpages and poste in tgheir forums asking if anyone had suggestions for improving it. i was surprised by the very negative responses I received. I had expected mature responses from the writers there, but got mosly negative attacks.

after the article was published I did get some positive comments, but overall I was very disappointed with the quality of the users in their forum. does anyone here have any experience with hubpages?

I'm not a big fan of hubpages, I'd rather publish my article in my own blog than in free hosted sites 'coz you'll never what will happen. Just like in the case of squidoo.

Anyway, maybe it has something to do with your writing style. Like more on self promoting article than helping people(?)

Actually, I didn't even mention my site or link to it. I wrote about something I have a little experience with and did some extra research. I am not a professional writer by any stretch of the imagination, but I expected constructive criticism, and not the negative posts and feedback I got

I like the way people act on this forum better. I am actually thinking of writing an article on internet forum etiquette and posting it on hubpages just for fun.

Oh, that's sad.

Anyway, sometimes there are rude and lurking people in every forum community. I am not so sure if there are admins in hubpages. Never mind them.

You can post your work here.
