I bought a plant
I bought a planted tree. I had it delivered and put it out on my deck (it's an outdoor plant).
Funny thing, it started raining a bit ago and I went and checked on it. moved it closer to the building (it was out towards the railing). It's almost like I care for the plant as a being. Odd how that works. Never cared for a plant before.

Plants and gardening is cool.
It's so relaxing and chilled, everything in it's own time and yep, you do get attached to them

lol... [Miller Lite commercial]You used to be the roughtest, toughest forum admin on the internet. But now, you've mellowed out![/Miller Lite commercial]
Procreation (having a baby - not just making one) and gardening are two things which can really ground a person and put life in perspective.
I've got a veritable suburban jungle growing in my back yard.
