Talking How many would you invite to your perfect wedding

We invited about 75 people and loved it because it was a super small wedding so we got to spend the majority of the night having fun with our close friends and family as opposed to spending most of it shaking hands and making basic chit chat.

How many people would be at your perfect wedding?

About 70 i guess.

But things are quite different in India. So the number would actually end up to be 5-8 times that number.

For me, I will invite only close friends and family members since I want this day to be intimate. But then again, I'd also have to consult my fiance about this so we can make compromise if she has other plans in mind...

I'll invite about 100 people for my wedding. I have many relatives and I have to invite all of them.

In regards to the opening post, If I had to do it all over again I would probably choose to cut back on all the invites. At my wedding we had about 175 invites and it was a nice wedding but it really is hard to greet and meet everyone. Realistically I would probably cut back on "the list" down to about 120's or so, however my wife might be to differ.

About close to 100. I'm Italian and we have a big family that tags along to any event.

Perfect wedding, huh? I don't have a lot of friends and relatives, so I guess around 50 would be OK for me.

We had a dozen of our closest and a few close family members. Just right.

I think the number would be close to 150-180.

I have a huge family and so does my gf. If we could keep it down to about 200 people , I'd be thrilled!

I wanted to keep it to 50. 500 turned up. That's still a small number. At a cousin's wedding 1000+ showed up! Being in a big family, you can't help.
