BMW all the way, especially the the 4th generation of 5-series. They are just beautiful imo. But currently I have a Ford. Maybe next year I will buy a BMW

Having had both I would say the Mondeo 2.5 ST is the better option for drivability and much less gadgetry that nobody needs and all too often goes wrong. I have one and it exceptional, safe, fast and you actually get to drive it yourself! I stuck some Conti SC5's on it though as it's so powerful.
I've had BMW's 3 series and 5 series and in all honesty if you aren't a badge snob then stick with the Ford. At least its a real drive, unlike BMW, where computer does it for you practically.
If its about looks, you sit inside to drive and those outside looking in have seen it all before, every other car in fact.

I still drive my trust Honda CRV but my fiancee just bought a 2017 Infiniti Q50 Sport which is pretty legit. The technology is second only to maybe Tesla.
My Honda has served me well so far as it has made it from Texas to North Carolina.

Z3? I thought they stopped production of that one and replaced it with Z4.

They did, its not new. In the UK top spec models in pristine condition are increasing in price!
This model http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...l=Z3&logcode=p with 15k miles though.
