Waste of a domain name

What's the biggest waste of a premium domain that you have ever seen?

I just ask because I was searching for scripts sites like hotscripts and scriptsearch and i came accross this domain that I thought was very premium and if attached to a good website would probably be a money maker.

I found:

www.scriptstore.com <-- now to me this is such a waste of a really good domain

Sad thing is, I'm sure there's alot worse out there than what I found.

I am actually really annoyed at the moment, because I was going to buy the .com domain name for my site also, but I discovered its taken and they are auctioning it off starting at $400! I was like DAMN! I think my domain is actually really good, just a tad peeved that someone wants $400 for my OTHER one!

I think I would prefer a free market system, where anyone can buy and sell almost any domain they like, than us having to apply to some authority to justify our usage before being allowed to buy them. ;-)

There's lots of good domain names wasted on parked pages, being held onto my some company or individual who only bought it for purposes of reselling it for a profit. Oh well, such is life.

Where once we had land speculation and physical squatters we now have cyberspace speculation with virtual squatters. Funny how eternal reoccurence can reocur on a theme.

A while back "vomit.com" had a starting bid of $5,000. But then the late 1990s bust happened.

OUCH.. that is such a waste. I don't know if it gets any worse than that one, but I wouldn't be surprised

dalmatians.com. The site has looked exactly the same for a very long time and I haven't been able to get a hold of the owner via snail mail or email.

it's a new form of real estate. Not really any different if you ask me.
