it's said 220 swordsmen challenged Miyamoto Musashi the greatest Japanese Swordsmen of known history. Though its recorded he only accepted about 70 Sword Duels. He never lost a single duel.

At the current rate of 1.28 posts per day it will take 78125 days to finish counting to 100,000 or 214 years.

In another forum (now defunct), the title and goal was 1,000,000 posts.

I think there was a consensus to consider changing the title to "1,000,000 views" - even then, it would still take hundreds of years.

Imagine if Samuel Morse started a similar challenge similar back in 1837.

There are many numbers that I could post next, but 229 is prime for the spot!

Funny anecdote. You know how sometimes you wake up in the morning thinking it is...say...Tuesday but in reality it is Wednesday? You go through your whole day thinking it is Tuesday never second guessing it because you "know" it is Tuesday. Then it is really jarring when you find out you had the day wrong.

Last week I did that with Mother's Day. All week I spent planning for Monther's Day, just totally sure that it was last Sunday. Bought flowers and a cake, I thought I had it all figured out. Nope. So we've kind of already celebrated in this house.

Well you get to do it all over again this Sunday.

We could use a little of that heat here. It seems the weather can't make it's mind up if it should be spring, or summer. However, like every year in the past, this is normal, and we all get impatient.

You should come to Lotus Land. It's going to be lovely for the next 2 weeks.

Flooding due to the warm weather. Melting the snow pack too quickly.

Hopefully that will subside soon!

I may be visiting relative on the east side of the mountains sometime this year or next, only because they won't stop bugging me to fly out since they moved out there last year. I don't think it's in the cards for this year though as I want to spend a couple of months in AZ after Xmas. Let's see - visit the plains and Lake Louise, check out the jackrabbits and maybe even visit a rodeo - or go golfing every second or third day in January and February... Hmmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

Golfing every other day sounds like a great idea!
