Google failed me. All I got was black toasters.

I take this is some type of removable drive.

Yes, the type of drive used in the toaster is the same drive you'd put into your computer box. I call the unit a "toaster", because just like bread in a regular toaster, the drive goes into the BlacX just like bread in a toaster.

Try this: BlacX 5G docking station

I see. You can just use any SATA drive you have laying around.

I like the one (different brand) with the built in card reader.

I think it might be best to have similar, if not identical drives for the cloning software to work well. By "identical", I really mean same size, same spin rate. I think the Acronis software may be able to clone to a different sized drive, but I've never tested that.

I will take a look at it.

Looks like we have winter headed our way this weekend. Whether snow or snow / ice mix TBD depending on which way the winds shift. 65f yesterday and 35f today. Gotta love it.

Okay. We all admit it.

Under dressed I ventured out for an allergy shot, a haircut and eggs, milk and bread today.

I'm ready for winter.

I'm not ready for winter. I'm running away. Albeit, for only two weeks.

HTML: I just found out the flu shot takes 2 weeks to become effective once it's been given, and we didn't want to take any chance on side effects before travelling. Not that I've had any - ever, but for the last two years, medial stuff has come up and ruined the time away. This year, I'm taking no chances!!

I've got my supply of sani wipes for the flight, and just might get the mask too!!

LMD - Out!!

I forgot to post this.

When the wife travels for work she always takes along a small snack bag of brown sugar for her morning oatmeal. She also stored some sand in some of them.

Yesterday morning she open her sugar bag and had grabbed one of the sand bags by mistake.

Ugh - nothing like a little sand in one's oatmeal!

Well she was smart enough to think it did not look quite right and to not put it on her oatmeal.

How goes the vacation?

All done with AZ for now. And, it seems I'm back home just in time for an Arctic blast next week. Next year, I'll be in AZ for almost 8 weeks to shorten the effects of cold winters at home.

Met Don Cherry (of the NHL's Coach's Corner fame) at the airport on the way back.

Yeah I'm also looking forward to that.

Was your vacation really that short? Time flies sometimes.

The time went real fast. Residents were beside themselves with the cold spell, which averaged around 18C. And apparently it's warming up now that we're back

Had to convert that, can't do it in my head.

That was better for you but not great. Sorry, I do feel your disappointment.

We are scheduled to be just on the fringe of that arctic blast but I am still not looking forward to it.

I wish I'd have made arrangements to stay for February this year in AZ. They're now averaging in the low 70's. We just got a dump of snow and more on the way Monday, and into Tuesday. It's becoming an old fashioned winter.

Throw another log on the fire and curl up with a good book.

I'm averaging about 5 novels per week right now. If it weren't for the library e-books I could not afford my habit.

All the seed companies know when to send out the catalogs. At least I have pictures of green growing stuff.

I've a couple of gas fire places that throw off some decent heat - no logs needed.

Have dialed back the workload to a much more manageable stream which allows me to do more around the homestead, but I've outsourced the snow removal. I need a minimum of 8 "average" and above snowfalls to the end of the year, for the cost-per-visit to be reasonable.
