Cyber Monday - Did you notice more sales or traffic ?

Today's Cyber Monday and it should be one of the busiest shopping days of the year for e-commerce websites.

Did you notice an increase in sales or traffic this Cyber Monday vs. Last Year ?

Theres still 12 hours left in this day. So far sales are above the daily average for 3 of our clients. The clients getting the most exposure in ppc and organic listings are obviously the websites that will see the increases.

Indeed the internet is definately buzzing today.

Everything is cooking along at the usual speed so far. Even Amazon.

Ok so its 2:30 now and our largest client received 200 orders by noon when they usually receive approx 100 orders by noon for the month of November.

The only drawback is Adwords and Overture are eating up twice as much money as they usually do.

I noticed a very little increase in traffic/sales, but nothing that huge.

I did notice a nice upswing in traffic yesterday (in fact it was my best traffic day ever). My earners were also up about 30% from my average for my sites, so I am very happy with Cyber Monday.

We think a lot of people did comparison shopping on Sunday, Monday and are finishing up their purchases today through the rest of the week.

Using ppc and other internet marketing solutions we spent more this year in the past couple days then we ever have before and it seems to be paying off well. Sales are up around 20% to 30% for our main e-commerce client. Of course there are several factors there other than seo and sem.

My little websites did better than their daily average. My clock website clocksonly.com got its first 5 orders in one day ...wow.

This was our first Cyber Monday ever for our salt lamps website. We actually had more sales the following day { tuesday }. The day after Cyber Monday we received more orders in one day than ever before.

So yes, sales are up for us.
