Dinner in. One of the two guttersnipes will be with us. Maybe a Die Hard movie, then champagne at midnight.

Living on the edge!

If you are staying up until midnight your time then you surely are.

I usually celebrate with Australia then go to bed.

Wait - what part of Australia? Isn't Melbourne like 15 or 16 hours ahead of New York (EST)?

Wouldn't that be like waking up at 8am while they're raising their glasses at midnight?

Maybe it's a repeat. I watch something and go to bed around 9:30.

Feel far better on the 1st than most party goers.

Roger that!

I usually make it to midnight - but, not much longer than that. Like I said in a previous post, "living on the edge".

Nothing special this year. Dinner New Years Day.

Anything good on the TV to watch while waiting for midnight?

I think we might do an appetizer grazing meal. My son has some broccoli cheese balls that are burning a hole in his freezer. So, if he wants to learn to deep fry I'm going to watch him cook them.

Probably so full of commercials as to make anything unwatchable. I think Netflix has a couple of new shows breaking out this week.

Had a nice quiet dinner at home with family; garlic butter & herb crusted prime rib, grilled asparagus, broccoli salad, garlic roasted red rose potatoes and lilikoi cheesecake. Passed out well before midnight but slept well with a full belly. Wish everyone all the best that 2019 has to offer!

Better to pass out from food than drinking.

And the wishes back at ya.
