Happy New Year to you HTML.

Goals? Work way less, exercise more and adopt a better food choice diet.

Oh, ya - more golf.

You?

Working less and having more time for golf would be nice...

If the "Weather Gods" put some effort into ensuring at least some good weather in the southern US, I'm hoping to play 4 or 5 games in the next 3 weeks.

You should be fairly safe where you are going.

When the current moderate weather ends here I expect it to be not so nice.

I'm not sure I could pack enough balls for that many games.

I stopped buying the expensive golf balls as they made little, if any difference in the shot outcome. At least for me, that is.

The first time in AZ, I was warned never to go into the rough looking for an errant shot. Snakes and other nasty thingy's could be lurking.

Whether actually true or not, I was told snakes sometimes have been found curled up in the holes. So reaching in to pick up the ball (especially early in the mornings) might get you a nasty bite.

Saw a video recently of a 14 foot gator sauntering down the fairway of some golf course. It was a monster sized gator.

I guess it's a good reminder not to get too close to the water hazards in the southern state courses.

For 2019 one of my BIG goals is to lower my weight even more. This past year I came down from 198lbs to 185lbs. So I was happy about it but I need to get down to the mid 170s. So this year my goal is to drop down another 10 pounds. Hopefully I can still accomplish that while enjoying my wine and Bourbon.
