What do YOU do with your emails?
I use OutLook Express and things have became really messy. On the left hand side how there are the folders like 'inbox' and 'outbox', is there anyway to create my own folder there. For example make a V7N folder and as my mail comes in, i would put all the emails related to V7N in there. Please help me on this one. Thanks.

I have gmail. I don't worry about sorting it because if I want something I just do a quick search and I find it. Although since I have several different email addresses of mine redirecting it to this one email, I do have "labels" for the incoming messages...which does sort them out by the source at least.

Yes, many people create new inbox folders in which to group related email.
In Outlook there is something called "rules" which allow you to define such things as how incoming email is routed (to which folder).
I didn't think this was avaliable in Outlook Express, but I just performed a Google search and to my surprise I believe it is.
This is the link that I found that explains rules in Outlook Express. Hopefully this will help you.
Good luck.

Right click Local Folders, there will be an option to create a New Folder.

I don't use my gmail account. Gmail scans your personal e-mails and tailors advertisements based on their contents. I'm not fond of that feature. But I guess that will become the norm in the near future (assuming it's not already).
But I know, I've heard the saying: "You have zero privacy anyway. Get over it."

And what happens when a free service changes, or they have problems? I prefer to have copies of my important mail on my PC...not at the whim of the Gmeister. Of course, I'm just paranoid.

I hate Outlook, it is just to encumbersome, and it makes everything run slow at times, but I cant live without it.
If they could lighten it up some so it doesn't take up so much Processing it would be great.
However I use it religiously, and I could not live without it. The 2007 upgrade is very nice.

I run outlook 24/7 on my PC on my second monitor. When it's not in use it's using 0-5% CPU and around 80mb of ram. Yes ram usage is somewhat high but I have thousands of stuff inoutlook... Overall I don't think it's too bad def. not slowing anything down.
