what size GeForce4?....because my specs are actually slightly better than that, i have 2.4 gig with 512mb ram, and of course th 64mb vid card...

i havn't tried this game yet, i probably will once i get home tonight. I am at work right now, and even though i have my laptop the internet here at the school sucks. It runs about 25kbs downloads, with maybe 5-6kbs uploads. Back home i get usualy 250kbs downloads and 60kps upload. So i would much rather download it there. The only real game i have had trouble with is Halo, which i actually exceed the minimum specs by quite a bit.

I have 1gb ram, geforce fx 5200 and an amd xp 2800+ running at 2.0ghz+... and the games I have tried run fine.

Microsoft.com has some sort of program that tests your computer to see what games will run on it. I'll try and find it after (I have to leave right now ^_^)

Yeah the game is freakign beautilful. I'm running it at 1600x1200 with everything turned on as high as it will go.

Did you know you could break off the two soldier-slicing blades that on the modified warthog? Me and my friend were just ramming eachother and we accidentally knocked em off

ugh, hate waiting for downloads. the wait over at fileplanet was at least 20 minutes, so i went over to IGN. Their server is slow though, only going at around 110kps, this is going to take over 30 mintues to download

bianary or hex? .... or are you just using something like C++. I use to be able to do all that. Hex is just way too much work though.

Week 1 - Assembly
Week 2 - Converty Assembly instruction into binary ( usually 4 or so sets of decimal numbers per instruction that must be converted into binary first and then combined into 1 long binary string ) then converted that into hex.
Week 3-5: designing a machine from scratch to run our instructions. So far we can only handle basic arithmetic and branch/jump statements.
Rest of the quarter: Make our machine hella fast w/ pipelining and multi-cycle.

You say that now, but you don't know the awful pain that goes along with acquiring such knowledge.
