just put the xp disc in and change boot from CD in the bios.

When the installation loads, delete the partitions on the HD then install XP on the blank HD

This is really odd. I finished my windows update, and nothing changed. So I went upstairs to watch JAG (useless info, yeah I know). I came back and it said I had to run windows update again. I ran it and now my sound works.

That is really odd, and interesting, if you ask me...
