Who gets Anna's body
Can you believe this? They have to have a friggin COURT HEARING to decide who gets her cold dead body?! It's obvious that she wants to be buried by her beloved son. This is simply ridiculous. Such a very sad end....

Thinks she might have meant buried by him, like beside him, not put into the ground physically by him

People fight over stupid things because they are stupid. I honestly believe the gene pool is getting far too thin to support real intelligence... even worse still is some people have been going backwards...

Just makes no sense to me. All these people claim to "love" her, yet she's on a slab decaying while they all fight for her body.

Horrifying is what that is. It brings to mind a true modern day vampire. These are people who need to find a creative way to compete for a Darwin Award!

I guess being just an average person that no one outside of your immediate circle really doesn't know or could care less isn't really a bad thing.
All this because she was a celebrity, but if you showed someone a picture of famous Doctors who've cured disease, or great educators or alot of inventors, people wouldn't have a clue.
She's famous because she posed naked for a magazine and married an old guy, and flaunted her body. What a society we live in.

I completely agree. Though anyone dying young is a tragedy, I don't see why so many people have made such a fuss over this. We tend to exaggerate the value and contributions of celebrities in this country. Were she born flat chested none of us would have heard of her. She was a commodity the instant she was discovered in that dance bar. Her loss remains sad because she was objectified, not because she made any grand contributions to our society or culture. She was owned and it probably destroyed her. That's the saddest thing about this story and a lesson for all of us who worship fame and the strange lure of celebrity.
