I'll tell her, Cricket. Her timing was certainly pretty good for me too. Even though I had to admit after telling her I was absolutely, posivitely, irrevocably, 100% certain she did not block the internet....that I was wrong and she had absolutely, positively, fortunately not irrevocably, 100% blocked the internet

Once I figured it out we all laughed pretty good and I needed it last night. She will appreciate knowing this. She didn't believe me when I told her I had to post this on the forum. It was too classic in too many ways to pass up.
I still haven't figured out what she did that made Norton thin IE, of all things, was doing something unusual enough to ask about blocking it!
And Isla, the only reason I haven't reformated the parent's computer more than I have is they are a bit timid on exploring, thank God for small miracles
Tanya, you say oopsie like you might have done something like this? Please tell me I am mistaken.
Luckyman, I'm not a kid but my parents only live about 10 minutes away from me.
Another funny part to this story is my mom was absolutely desperate to git this fixed last night. It's been a long week and I told her if she wanted to bring the laptop over I would try to fix it. She wasn't willing to go there and eventually I gave in and headed over. Turns out she was desparate because she didn't realize that playing freecell did not require the internet!

She is working her way through winning all 100,000 games. In my wildest dreams, I never would have imagined my mom as a computer gamer!
Oh, well, until the next parent computer adventure.
