Have you ever found anyone that looks like you?
I saw there was a show or something about people who look like each other but have never known one another.
I have had 2 times in the last year. Honestly, when I first joined V7n there was a picture of Julie and I freaked b/c it looked like me about 15 years ago. I brought my husband in and he thought I had posted a picture of me.
Then yesterday I found a stock photo of a little girl that I swear could have been my double when I was younger.
Do you think you have a twin out there?

That is so funny, we were talking about that here the other day.
When my husband and I got married, we were in Las Vegas. We took a side trip to Lake Mead and the Dam. We stopped off at the restaurant there, and we were getting food. My husband and at the time 15 yr old daughter were walking around with their food looking for me, it was a cafeteria style place.
I guess they started laughing because they both headed towards someone they thought was me.
Now when your husband and teenage kid mess up, could that be considered a near twin ?? LOL

Back in my pretentious and self-absorbed music days, my band was playing at a party house near the college. After the show a woman came up to me and started looking me up and down, not in a seductive way, but with a look of awe. No one had ever looked at me like that before, so I didn't really know what to do. Finally she said "You look exactly like someone. Exactly." All I could muster was "really?" because she kept glaring at me. "You look exactly like him," she kept repeating. My curiosity heightened, I eventually asked "who?" She looked at me and said, "Oh, he's dead now, but I can't beleive it..." The conversation ended soon after and she didn't try to talk to me at all after that.
In short, I have been told that I look like someone. Hm.

interesting Ed. That would be a little strange!
I actually thought I might have freaked Julie out when I emailed her to tell her. I said I would find a picture to email her but when I did find the one that looked like that picture, it is hanging on my wall. So I have yet to take it out of the frame to scan it. oh well.

I haven't seen the one Julie had up for a long time. She took it off shortly after I told her she looked like me LOL. It was one when her hair covering some of her face if I remember correctly. And I have to get the one out of the frame on the wall of me. It was on my wedding day at a reception we had.

But here is the stock photo I found that looks like I did when I was a little girl. The first stock (of course) and second is when I was in 1st grade.

I never met anybody who looked like me but someone confused me with someone else. It was my first year in the US.
I went to a store to get some drinks and the cashier greeted my with me name. I told her I wasn't who she thought I was but she insisted. To make a long story short - not only did she tell me it was rude of me to pretend I didn't know here but that I should also quit that silly accent of mine

Huh, funny this thread got started today. Laura's look-alike (not quite double) just tried to sell me crappy framed art outside the office. Walked out to smoke and just get away for a few minutes and I thought Laura had made a really quick trip to Phoenix for minute!
Hate to admit it but back in my college days, I was mistaken for Weird Al numerous times. It was the hair, glasses and mustache, I think

Really? I have a "thing" about me (thanks to being mixed) that has prevented me from finding people who look like me. Next time you see her, take a picture, or steal her away in a box and mail her to me. I just want to see. Nothing creepy. Nothing creepy at all.

Since she was selling crappy framed art door to door I doubt I'll see her again but if by chance I do, I'll see if I can snap a quick phone photo without looking too much like a dirty middle-aged man. I'm still practicing for dirty old man

Hell Taltos, if you're going to do that, why not just go the whole hog.
1, Purchase a second hand long mac.
2, Find an old pair of jeans.
3, Cut off the legs off the jeans (about 6 inches above the knees is best)
4, Tape the jean legs to your legs.
5, Put on mac (and obviously nothing else except camera, properly positioned)
Works like a charm - Or so they tell me
Back to lookalikes.
There was a guy a few years back in the papers who was wanted by the police and they released a photo and people thought it was me. This has happened more than once. So there you go, I get the criminal lookalikes.

Wow, Gio, thanks. You must have been practicing a lot longer than me!! Also, could you be prepared to bail me out? Do they allow international long distance calls as you one call from jail??
