My favorite desk

I used to have this desk in Seattle. I can't find a desk in Japan that is even comparable in regards to convenience of use.

Anybody know someplace that still sells these desks in the US?

I've seen something similar to that but trying to remember where. My favorite desk is this one: http://www.havertys.com/catalog/grou...up=ASFI85+Wall I worked at that when I worked for a local publication - it was just the publisher and I in the office. She had one side and I had the other. I will probably get something very similar here.

John how about this site?

Take a look at the Mikael corner workstations. I really like them. They are available in Ikea. I suppose they stock it up in Ikea Japan too. Will post a picture when I find it.

We now have 2 Ikea desks in our "office" (put in quotes because no actual work takes place there). Not as fancy as your setup, John, which looks pretty swanky and comfortable.

On a separate topic: I have never eaten food at Ikea. The thought rather frightens me. Especially 50 cent hot dogs.

Sorry... back to desks...

It's a just a simple cubicle-type desk. Just look for sites that sell moduar office systems, and I'm sure you'll find an even nicer one.

PS. Those 50 cent hot dogs are good.

I like this one so far.

One the versions here looks like what you used to have. But I depise blonde wood and rounded corners.

My absolute favourite is here.

Looks like they still have something quite similiar (different colors, but basic set-up is the same)

Hey dude checkout Office Max Pro that's what I'm going to outfit my office with. You can do an ENTIRE U for like $3,000 were talking hutches, desks, filing cabinets, corners, tables, etc. I'm talking about filling up a big room with deks and a table conencting in the middle. To do one station like you showed is around $1000.

That one on their front page is pretty. Love it.

On that note, you don't like my modular mates from thinkgeek?
