Tell me about it. 2 days ago it was 80 degrees. Today its like 24 degrees and snowing. We have several inches of snow on the groundl. And it's opening day for the Cleveland Indians, and the dumbasses keep trying to play in this weather.

A couple of inches in London, too, just sprinkles in Toronto. But it's styaing on the ground, which kills me. Julie: Yay snowbelt!
North of London, where my church is, we had a walking service, from church to church... follow a cross or something, I don't know. But holy frick was it cold.
Good luck with that egg hunt in the park tomorrow. Geez.

It was in the 20s here in Western NY, with snow and the wind chill was 13.
They said its supposed to be cold and snowy for at least the next 7 - 10 days, and could actually be colder than normal until the end of April !
Not only is it getting depressing, but my son has the next wek off from school, and he and the little one are fighting off colds, I can't even send them out to play it's so damn cold out.
I want warm weather, flowers, warm breezes, sunshine, butterflies and all that stuff !
Thanks for this thread, I needed to vent !

The weather this year has been so crazy. Ohio weather is nutty every year, but I can't remember another like this one. We had such mild weather at the beginning of winter - it was in the 60's at Christmas then last month it was unbelievably cold and snowy. 2 days ago, it was 84 degrees and the next day lows in the 20's and a high of 40.
My beautiful lilac tree bloomed in just a few short days, but now, it looks like it's going to die with the SNOW!

My lilacs hardly have any buds because it's been so dang cold. The trees had very little in the way of buds too. I really would like to see some spring color for crying out loud.
You would think Taltos would invite all of us over for awhile !

As I'm sitting here watching the snow accumulate and I'm freezing my asteroid off, I was wondering if anyone here is tight with Al Gore. If you are can you please have him call me and explain this global warming crap to me ?!

Ok. I just returned from San Diego. Perfect weather. Spot on. On the dot. Even when it drizzled it was perfect. I felt inferior. I didn't feel that my fleshy bag was good enough to breeze in that weather with all those bronzed beautiful people. Then, while drifting and bobbing at 37,000 feet, I learned that I was flying back to 29 degrees. And so I did. Brrrr. Luckily I come from a long line of Vikings. Only a few of which were beserkers.

Speaking of Mr Ozone; did you see that his home uses about as much electricity as 20 average homes. 221,000 kwh per year I think it was.
When he moves to smaller more eco friendly digs, I will see he practices what he preachs.

Come on down! It was high 80's low 90's. My nephews had a birthday party and my sister rented one of those big inflatable water slide. The kids ran from the water slide out next to the house to the pool in the backyard! They had a blast. The pool is still kinda cold as it is the desert. It still gets chilly at night (mid 40's to high 50's) so pool water was still only about 70 degrees which is cold for pool water.
And as soon as I saw the piles of snow in Ohio, I thought of the folks here that would be in the middle of it. Beautiful weather here if you need to warm up for a bit
