How many Ebooks do you have?
Well, last night, I was looking for an e-book that I thought I owned...And so I began searching for it. Instead of going through hundreds of unorganized folders in my computer (yes, I am VERY unorganized when I can), I decided to do a simple search...
So, what you do in your desktop search is put *.pdf for filename and it shows you all the ebooks You've got..
Well, I was surprised...I knew I had many ebooks but not that many!
And sad part is some of them I've spent over $100 getting and probably never read..
Ok, so, how many ebooks have you got? Just a fun survey...
Cheers,
Ana

None. I've "borrowed" a few ebooks from the library, but never purchased any. I can't be arsed to read a whole book on a computer screen...makes my eyes go buggy.

Zilch. Or, if I have some, I'm not aware of them (and didn't willingly procure them).
Until some monitor genius figures out how to fixate a permanent focal point on a monitor (right now, even with flat screens, your eyes have no fixed focal point so they continually focus in and out to find one - just one reason people get headaches from long exposure) I will stick with the 2D paper.
Aside warning: I just got back from an entire week, actually 9 days, of computer free living. I logged into a system only once for about 2 hours. I noticed that throughout the week I had as many headaches as I have eBooks: zilch, zero, nada, nil, nul, goosegg, the big nadaroonie. Let's see how long it takes for them to return now that I'm once again poised in front of one.

I might have 3 or 4 and they are all freebies. Like most everbody else, so far, I don't enjoy or like reading a book on the monitor. I much prefer a real book. I read books a great deal and I use the internet for lots of research but not for ebooks.
