OK, well if you insist on being silly, here's a 40 page interview with Armstrong - quite in depth for a man who apparently never does interviews. I don't know, some people! Tsk!

Sigh, I'm just not going to bother. Guess some people just don't want to listen.

(Not directed at your last post unreal... that's a valid question you asked ).

Yeah, it is. I just get really serious when it comes to things like this. I have a mental problem of taking things to seriously... hehe (no joke).

"Why does he always refuse to interviews by news teams, reporters etc?" - unrealfragmaster

Dunno. He's very private, no doubt there. But I found this:

"In a rare 1979 interview with the Cincinnati Post, Armstrong said the problem with accommodating the demands of the media was that it is too time-consuming. "The only thing I've done is say, gee, I'm not going to spend all day every day with every guy who's trying to put a book together, put a magazine article together or put a newspaper feature together." He added, "I think the interview is the worst form of information transfer, because it's all hip shoot."

At the end of the interview, he asked for just one favor: "Don't print it." "

That's from http://www.floridatoday.com/space/ex...9b/071899b.htm

BTW, don't think I'm not enjoying this either. As conspiracy theories go, it's one of the biggest.

My father lived in cincinnati, not too far from armstrong, and actually played golf with him and a few of my fathers co-workers. Never once brought up the experience. Actually, my dad said someone asked him a few questions, and he just changed the subject.

I believe that the space landing is real, but I'm not convinced every single piece of evidence is 100% truthful. After all, if it were 100% true, why would he be so adament about not speaking about it?

I guess it's possible that NASA is secretive about this information, and would want him to keep quiet about a few things, but still...

I highly doubt we will ever know for sure, the government is pretty good about keeping things secret. However, I doubt that the government would give so much money to NASA year after year, to build on something that never really happened. Even our government is smart enough to know better than that...
