If Clarke thinks he can do better than Bush should send him over there to solve the entire problem. After all he is a general right? So put him in some camo and give him a gun and take him to the front lines to 'make a difference'.

The thing is, it's so insulting to the American public. The democrats are saying "we could have stopped 9/11", which is of course a blatant lie. 9/11 could happen again any time, every day. In order to stop 9/11, you'd have to imprison the entire US population.

Of course bush was in power for a mear 8 or 9 months prior to the tragedy. What about the former president whom was a democrat. Did this terrist threat just pop up in the 8 or 9 months that bush was in office? I dont think so. Its just as much a fault of the former administration than the present administration.

no no no..... that is Wesley Clark you are thinking of. This is Richard Clarke. He is the former counter-terrorism chief. He originaly came in during the Clinton administration, and Bush liked him and kept him around for his administration.

I think they should all join forces and stop bikering between themselves, get rid of "terrorism" (Though that's obvioulsy impossible, but they can at least further subdue it), the media should tell the full story and everyone would have a better idea of that's going on, so they can make a more insightful decision as to they vote for!
Just my views...
But I think lots about a lot of things... mostly useless...

I think they should put all the politicians in Aphganistan (sp?) and with a big red target mark on their foreheads. I don't like any of them. They're all opportunistic scum.

Come on Greg, admit it.. you like it just as much as me.
I'm actually kind of a hypocrit when it comes to politics. I like to have a "don't worry about the small things - and everything is small. " type of attitude ... but dayum politics is addicting to me.
