Cause of Breast Cancer
I remember several years ago a new wave of underwear for men came on to the scene - known as boxer shorts.
From what I know the reason for this was because of an increase in testicular cancer in men who wore tight package handling briefs.
So, to me it seems only logical that bra's would be doing the same thing to women. Constant pushing pressure on the breast could be viewed in the same way briefs were acting on men.
It's my opinion that women should just disregard the bra all together and studies be conducted in the future to see if there has been a decrease in breast cancer.

Hm, interesting theory. I remember when Lance Armstrong developed testicular cancer, some people thought maybe it had a lot to do with the constant pressure of his bicycle seat. So, tight undies could be having the same effect.
I absolutely detest wearing bras, and I'll only wear them if I have to. The minute I'm home, it's off. (ok, too much info, sorry) Those underwires DIG - how can that be good for us?
You might be onto something.

Please don't stop - go on....you were saying
I wouldn't be surprised if a combination of the bike seat and those tight lycra pants caused Lances' cancer.
Note - for my old thread - hate the word undies!!!

I just tried to take out "undies" and replace it with "man panties" (which is what I usually call men's underwear) - but my edit time has expired. Please feel free to yank the offensive word out of my post.
So, women wear panties and men wear - what? Underwear? What do you call it?

Back to bras: I'm sure, if you took a survey, most women would prefer to go braless.(Ladies, chime in here) Obviously, when running or other forms of exercise, bras are usually required. But, other than that - I doubt you'd find a woman who is thrilled to strap one on (a bra, that is). Though, some bras are beautiful and nice for decorative purposes.

Really? Is that true? I heard in the news a year ago that the cause of breast cancer was that they don't eat their meal on the right time or eat nothing at all. And that was occur to the woman who conducting their reducing stage.

I do not know why I am getting into this ...
The advantage of boxer shorts over other male underwear are to do with natural ventilation and the temperature of your testicles. These obviously produce semen which have to be kept at a more constant temperature, hence they are retracted when too cool and allowed to extend beyond the body when too warm.
The upshot of too tight underwear is reduced fertility, so this is a serious issue. Boxer shorts allow these vital and complex parts of the male anatomy to function as nature intended. Caftans, kilts.
Its just as complicated down there for us guys too you know.
I have not heard of a link between tight pants and cancer. :Sceptical smilie shaking his head from side to side:

I've heard of a link between those stretch jeans that people wore in the early eighties, and male impotence. Because of the compression thing that Seda said.
I prefer the phrase 'undercrackers' to denote boxers etc.

Sure, I'd prefer to go without if I had little there.... but unfortunately, it can be quite uncomfortable to go without if you are a bit bigger.

Oh - I'm far from small chested. Still, I'm much more comfortable with my, um, 'cage-free' eggs. It's not like I'm jogging through my house or anything. Besides, there are bouncy activities in which women are braless, no? But hey - whatever makes someone comfortable is what they should do.

IMO, I think you (not you specifically, just in general) can be comfortable without up to like a C...but after that...forget about it.

Coming from you seda dude, I doubt that this experiment actually has anything to do with health risk studies

I'm actually the cause of breast cancer. The only way to cure it is by me magically massaging them with my hands.

Bad Brian
Sorry...but I like the support and look. You can definitely tell when a woman either doesn't have on a bra or has one on without good support. And it isn't a pretty picture (usually)

At black light golfing last night, some lady had a see through shirt on (it was only see thru in the black light) and her white bra was just shining on through.
