What the?
I wasn't sure where to post this, so please feel free to move my thread.
A little while ago I was watching TV and I saw a black spot on my screen. I thought maybe it was something in the show we were watching, but when I changed the channel, it was still there - then the black spot started moving around.
So, I walked over to the TV and discovered a bug - not ON my screen, but IN my screen!! We were stunned! How in the world could a bug get in there?? It was crawling all over the place, then it eventually dropped out of sight - hopefully it died.
Has this ever happened to anyone in here, and if so, did it mess up your TV at all? Should I call a repairman?

We can't figure it out! The ventilation openings are tiny. The bug looked fairly large, but we think maybe it's actually small, but magnified somehow behind the screen. We've only had this TV about two months, so I'm hoping the bugs weren't "built into" the TV at the factory - and now babies are hatching!! If the bug shows up again, I'll take a movie. It's so bizarre!

Now seriously, you should call someone to take a look inside your TV.

I searched for info online and I found a couple people who had bugs trapped in their computer LCD screens (which is kinda like my TV, since it's also an LCD) Here's one of the videos.

A fly probably dropped it's somewhere in your house and a light breeze would of blown them into the vents of the TV!
Eww - you really should keep a clean kitchen and never leave food crumbs on the kitchen floor. Do-over you grub!

Plasmas are great, too. It was between a plasma and an LCD. We went with the "next generation" LCD.
I guess the bugs are what makes it the up-in-coming technology. It's not just a TV - it's a bug-zapper.

There's a wide range of prices. When it comes to audio/video and other such things, I think it's always best to buy something of good quality - so you know it will last a really long time.

That was too way impossible, but since you saw it how that bug manage to get inside? There are a large volt of electricity inside the television. Though it's off, the electricity will still be there. and it's very dangerous.
