I am still trying to stop being a passive smoker, but anyhow have to smoke w/o paying and w/o wish.

Every once in a while I'll get a craving, but at this point it's pretty easy to get passed that, The first week was really tough for me after that it was pretty easy. Willpower has to outweigh the cravings. If that's the case you'll get by fine. Good luck.

Excellent work! Any bad habit kicked is a good kick! I've never smoked but I know vicariously how addictive those little sticks are. Your innards thank you!

you could try reading that allen carr book they are talking about up there^
or the patch or the gum, but I believe if you REALLY want to quit, then you just won't have another smoke (convince yourself of that)

Yeah, the only reason I care to quit for is that my girlfriend doesn't like it. That and spending $10 a week that I don't need to be lol.

$10 a week
Bloody hell, I was spending about £35 per week which equates to about $70 per week and I stopped about 2.5 years ago.
Gone completely the other way now and am a bit of a fitness freak

Congrats to those who have quit!
Luckily I never started... I saw the spell it had my dad under, and decided that wasn't something I wanted to mess with.

Same here. I preferred being a smoker to being a fitness freak, except that being a smoker was bad for my health.
Smokers just seem more laid back. I was more laid back as a smoker. Now I'm more "high tension".
Oh well, at least my chances of living longer are improved.

Bloody thanks KC
I go out and some of my friends smoke which is fine. The prob is when they do it after hitting a club and I have had a few to drink, damn I have been tempted but never given in...... Yet!
Can't see me doing it again either, I have served my time

That's not from not smoking... that's from not smoking after smoking. If that makes any sense.
It takes over a year for your body to readjust to normal after releasing yourself of a smoking habit.

Good for you.. Hope it last forever.
And I think it was hard on your part
to just quit smoking after ten years.
