I am pretty sure it will increase your perfomance over all if you quit smoking.
I've even noticed when jogging I can go twice as long without running out of breath.
For me I had to quit because I had smoked for too long and was getting sick of it but I have friends who smoke and enjoy it so much that they have no plan of quitting. So I guess to each there own.

If it was so easy you would have only needed to give it up once, surely?

I think I want to give up smoking but another part of me doesn't want to. I guess that's the addicted part of me that doesn't want to.

I quit smoking on Chantix though I have tried to do cold turkey on two occasions, but of no use. I have smoked for around 5 yrs with pack a day. Thanks to chantix and the support my family provided me. It really helped me to get over my nicotine addiction and I don’t feel craving anymore. You can have all the information on chantix here http://www.chantixhome.com/ There is one thing which I would like to share and which helped me a lot initially, try having a glass of water when you feel craving the most. It a tough road but it's worth so best luck to all those who want to give up smoking.

FREEDOM, finally.
Anyone else quit recently or planning on quiting?

I got my housemate done it, however he fails. He just did it and after a month I noticed him enjoying smoke again..
Anyways, I am not a born smoker.. And never in my life time that I maintain it. But I tried it once to answer my curiosity.
