Frauds getting common on webmaster sites now ??
Dear Friends,
the news might shock some of you.. but I have noticed that some people sell things at reasonably small amount.. may be 10$-50$ which could be worth 500$, and we feel for it.
Recently we saw a pr8 1 year link on DP on sale for 50$ ..!!!
and it was a scam.. later we know.. but should not we check the reliability of the person ??
I saw this person have a lot of id's and a lot of IP's I can't tell who is he, but he seem to be gaining good will thru himself as many id's he has and with selling too many items at a very cheap price, he gets too many i traders and good rep's.
I just felt that its my duty to inform you all that PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR CHEAP .... and since I can't post on DP... ( I was banned there, for some unusual reasons ) I cant tell them there, but I know that some people here are members there too..
Please friends... try to avoid a short time gain as its a deep very deep scandal going on.
I cant give his name.. for some personal security reasons.. but I am afraid... he and his group is robbing you all
Hope you please read it and use the info given...

thats quite a statement to make without revealing specific details about the scam or scammer.
this truly has become a problem around the internet's larger webmaster forums. here, DP, sitepoint, no one is immune to these bastards.
not providing any specific info makes this thread kinda a waste, don't you think?
i am active at DP and i see the scam threads and have lost a dollar or 2 myself.
but at DP people name names and provide links to threads where this stuff takes place.
maybe you could do the same?

If anything, those scammers should be afraid of someone hurting them.
Instead of posting here, with nonspecific information, why not report these people to the authorities who can do something to put them out of business?

Well I can just warm members here
I dont want to report and be a hero, since in India, you are already surrounded by such people who can do anything to you.. and the cops and all will keep eyes closed.
I dont want any problem to me, since social security or a sense of security is NIL here

Thanks people, I tried to correct but I was not able to make it right.
I dont know why some people have negative thoughts when I was just trying to help and caution people..
Anyway I feel better now, since this thread is helping some people and catching attaraction of many
Thanks Mods and John...
