Can we do something for any Good cause while just being online?

Is it possible that we do something online and it can help the people who do work for the good causes like working against Child Labor, Global Warming, Smuggling...etc????

I mean I have seen a website who was asking to put their banner on our site and as much visitors they get from our sites it will be good for them and they can help protecting Whales (it was a site about whales).. I don't remember exactly what was that but it was just about putting their banner on our site.

Do you know some site for which if we put their banner on our site will be good for them?

I hope you are getting what I am trying to say... I want to do something good for our beautiful EARTH

Actually I saw a Documentary Film on National Geographic Channel few days ago in which a group of Engineers were making an ICE-HOTEL, but they had to wait for the right time because of Global Warming that area is getting hot and the total months of COLD temperature is getting less each year.

So I thought if I can do something to help the people who are working against global warming it would be a pleasure for me
