or .. it could be my temporary depressive disorder from Tramadol withdrawl just isn't over yet.

There is an old Chinese proverb about wise men not giving advice because they can never know all the facts of the case. I'm loath to commit myself one way or another. But ...
It sounds a little paranoid. One instance does not make me worry. We all feel like that at some point and the cause can be just life. Again if it is a recurring event then that is the time for concern I would think. From your various posts you have implied use of various drugs. These may have taken a toll to some degree. If so, it may be worth confiding in your doctor who perhaps could help you evaluate this more thoroughly.
If I were in your shoes I guess I would want to know.
At this stage I would put it to the back of my mind and assume it was the withdrawal. See if you get similar feelings again. If you don't then it was the withdrawal. If you do, then it is worth exploring further and maybe identifying a cause and a course of action.

Very good.
I know that it's the Tramadol withdrawl.
You wouldn't believe the intensity of depression associated with opioid cessation. The intense part of it lasts about a week, going from past experience. I have not been treating my depression with an anti-depressant, which if I had, it is very likely this never would have occurred.

There are a few in my family that suffer from very deep depression to the point of requiring medication, so I have some little understanding of what you are going through. Just remember there are many here that care.
I would seriously consider informing your doctor of your past addictions, it will help to avoid these situations in the future. A full and complete medical history is essential for correct diagnosis and treatment. Please consider this.

That is a good possibility for intrinsic correctness. ;
I think that getting closer to death may have something to do with it. Never used to have to think about that stuff, you know? My faith is weak, that doesn't help either.
I'll be ok. Feeling stronger every day.

I was alive and old enough to appreciate the music when it was being made.

Ditto what Mike said here.
I remember losing my first strong love in my twenties. I thought it was the end.
It turns out, it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
I would never have believed it at the time as I was too distraught and doubting even my core personality.
But, that is the way it turned out. Time will heal all.

absolutely. And don´t think that finding Mr. Right will do it all for you. Being in a relationship has its burdons, too. Maybe you´re not ready yet for what is yet to come. Think about it ...

same here, only difference I wasn´t praying for the biggest mistakes I would have made. It was more like me hoping God wasn´t looking and me somehow managing to create my own destiny. Or something like that.

I had suicidal depression many years before Bonnie's current age. Would you have told me that? How would you have expected me to respond?
Telling someone that they shouldn't feel the way they do is often part of the problem, not part of the solution.
