If you could enhance your brain, would you?

Excuse my negligence. I set the question but did not indicate my own preference.

Given the safety issue is taken care of, I suspect that enhancing your brain will be like a new arms race. Or perhaps a more essential version of 'keeping up with the Jones'. Just to compete in the job market we will find that we each have to bite the bullet sooner or later, unless we are of independent means.

As soon as a small group are seen to be benefiting from such enhancement the bandwagon will start rolling and will gather such momentum that it will be impossible to stop. Humanity will never be the same again. It will be plastic surgery for the brain, except the lobe size will not be just for show.

If it is to be stopped, it has to be stopped now before that wagon gets rolling. Personally I think it is already too late, the dream is out there, it is just a matter of time now.
