Any DP moderators here?

I'm (was) a user on DP as well as here, but couple weeks ago my account said I have too many infractions and my account (On DP) is closed until January or something....

I never received any emails to see what the infractions were for, but I really dont have time to sit to run up posts or anything like that. (the idea of it makes me laugh)

Anyways, if there are any DP mods here, I appreciate it if they check into it (My DP ID is "Nima). I do a lot of business there (and have a high iTrader too) and would like to continue hiring people from Digital Points Forms.

hmmm I have about 5 infractions on DP myself. 4 them acquired by "bumping" in the BST section.

Dn't ever reply to a BST topic with "I'm interested PM sent"
You'll get a infraction!! lmao

I dont know, but most of them were posting in the wrong category (Ex. posting about Directory templates under Directory section instead of Template section).

I'd say that's where almost all the infractions are coming from.

its funny. I received an infraction here on this forum today.... For putting 3 links in my signature instead of 2 (honest mistake on my side), I guess they couldn't simply send a PM.

The other problem with emails is that it doesn't keep a clear record with the profile for other moderators, so a member could have easily received warning emails from several moderators already, and we wouldn't know it. By using the infraction system, we can prevent this issue and keep track of when someone breaks the rules over and over again.

We do not do this because we are on some kind of power trip. There is no pleasure in members getting angry with you when they receive an infraction. We do what we do because we truly care about this community.
