Let's share some good movies here
Recommend everyone to see a good film named Crash. The story begins with a crash, and the people who are around this crash are like the persons who are living in the world,it is about love, racial discrimination, crime and so on. I think the director is very excellent,he can make us think over the problems happen in our real life through the film.the most deep impression that this film gave me was the secene that the fix lock man told a lie to his little daughter to make her brave and feel relax.

Eastern Promises
18-rated 'Eastern Promises' is the latest movie from critically-resurrected schlock-meister David Cronenberg, and once again his leading man is Aragorn, er, Viggo Mortenson. They last worked together on the excellent 'A History Of Violence', in which Viggo was also cast as an enigmatic hard nut, although whereas in 'Violence' Mortenson was mixed up with the Mafia in middle-America, this time around in a change of mood he is a rising star of the Russian Mafia. In London!
Cronenberg's career is on a big roll again after 'Violence' - unsurprisingly, since it was one of the best thrillers of the last few years and kept viewers guessing right up to the end. The same can be said of this movie, and if he keeps up this level for his next film, he'll certainly get back to being one of Hollywood's few must-see directors. So what's going on that recommends Promises?
When Naomi Watts, on shift as a hospital midwife, delivers the baby of an under-age Russian mother who dies during birth, she naturally pilfers the mother's diary for a good old snoop. To her dismay, it is written in Russian which means she must seek a translator. Meanwhile Aragorn is casually dismembering a frozen, brutally-murdered corpse, little suspecting that he is about to be caught in a tug-of-morality between his drunken, perverted, sexually-ambiguous boss's dad and the plucky, naive and dim Watts, who has donned a convincing English accent for the role. Cue twanging nerves, old-school Russki dons in high level pow-wows, inter-gang feuding, sinister stares, tattoos and fisticuffs.
If you are going to see the film, be warned that the violence (which is used sparingly to great and leg-crossing effect) is ever so graphic. If you don't like seeing fingers snipped off by secateurs, stabby punch-ups, or even leering conscienceless sadists wondering what to do next, then you may want to go and see Saw IV instead. Erm. It's got fairly explicit sex in one scene too.
If you do like to see simmering noir double-crosses, throats being cut by retarded teenage boys and retribution-seeking Chechnyans, knife fights in Turkish baths and family meals at Wimpy, then rest assured this movie is for you. Tension, thrills and gritty goings-on are what it's all about and Cronenberg is a more than capable master of the genre. If it's anywhere near as good as 'Violence' or 'Promises', I can't wait for his next film.

What genre do you prefer? If you just like I recommend you The Illusionist
I just didn't know if you seen this movie yet. The Knight tales would also do. And if you like drama you can try City of Angels for sure you will cry at this one.

Did you watch it, or were you just posting someone else's review of it?

Tampopo. Great Japanese film. You'll never look at food (or shrimp) the same way again. There's something Hollywood can't offer: a new way to look at seafood.

I watched it and wrote this review. I was going to stick the review on a blog but thought I'd put it up here instead. It's a very good film.
