I do not want to be immoral. It would suck to live forever and see everyone you love dying. However if I was immortal I would sell my immortality for 1000000 bucks.

OK, this is just plain silly. If you were immoral? You mean immortal surely, can I call you Shirley btw?

If it was possible for one person to be made immortal, what is to say that others could not, thus your objection is no longer valid. Of course what is liable to happen is that you could grow to hate the person/s you love through the shear amount of time you have to spend with them, but then again think of the length of scarf you two could knit together.

There's too high a price too pay for being immortal. For mw, watching everyone I loved pass away would be really sad.

I would not want to live forever, but I would pay millions to live even to 300. I'd really like to live at least another thousand years. Life is way too short. The afterlife, if there is one, can wait.

Sure, seeing all those you love die and living on after them would be sad, but you're not thinking of the positive side. You would get to make so many more loving relationships with people. The love you would gain and give to others is more than the sadness you'd feel.

I plan on getting myself frozen if I can afford it. There's little downside to it. So my kids won't get some of that money. Tough.
